PLAYGOKIDS LIMITED is the corporate name for PlayGoKids. In this Statement, we will refer to PlayGoKids Ltd as "PlayGoKids", "our", "us" or "we."

We take your privacy seriously. We are providing this Statement to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information on our Service in accordance with our Terms of Use.

By visiting our website and/or mobile app, whether on a computer, phone, tablet or similar device (these are all referred to as a "Device"), you are accepting the practices described below.

Children's information

Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use PlayGoKids. We do not intentionally collect or maintain Personal Information from those who are under 13 years old. Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us. Therefore, if we obtain actual knowledge that a user is under 13, we will take steps to remove that user's Personal Information permanently from our databases. We recommend that children between the ages of 13 and 18 obtain their parent's permission before submitting information over the internet. By using PlayGoKids, you are representing that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are at least 13 years old and have a parent's or guardian's permission to use PlayGoKids.

 

Collection of Information

We collect information in 3 basic ways:

We collect information when you voluntarily use a third-party social network system login process for authentication such as Google (You may, however, visit our app anonymously), GPS Location (if permitted within the app), and anonymous metrics and statistics of the app utilisation.

 

What data do we collect?

We collect Your Personal Data on our App and / or our Website.

The Personal Data that We collect are strictly necessary for the purposes related to the use of the App and the processing of your possible requests.

The Data collected through the App are the following:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Photo
  • GPS Location
  • Ratings, reviews, photos you share
  • Anonymous metrics and statistics

The Data collected through the Website are the following:

  • Application Insights Cookies

When browsing our Website, anonymous metrics and statistics information relating to the browsing of your terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) may be saved in files called "Cookies" placed on your terminal.

 

How do we collect your data?

Personal Information

If you log in using a third party authentication system such as Google, you are allowing us to use your Personal Information from that particular third party system. This will only happen with your authorisation - via their login mechanism - with which you also agree to their terms of Service and privacy policies.

Non-Identifying Information

We collect other information that you provide to us by interacting with our Service. Non-Identifying information is information that cannot be reasonably used to identify or contact you.

We also collect your geo-location to localize your nearest playgrounds. This is optional, but needed for the service to work effectively.

This information is collected to gain insights on how our Service is used, with the objective of providing you with a better experience and to improve the quality and value of PlayGoKids.

 

How will we use your data?

Personal Information

When you consent to use PlayGoKids Service, you provide us with your Personal Information, obtained from the third party authentication system. Some of which is publicly viewable. Other users will be able to see some of your Personal Information which includes, but is not limited to: your first name, first letter of last name and photo (if available), when you submit ratings, comments and playground photos.

Providing additional Personal Information is voluntary and should correlate with the degree of interaction you want to have with other PlayGoKids users. We recommend that you refrain from disclosing any information you consider to be sensitive or confidential.

We will only use your Personal Information to personalise your PlayGoKids experience, contact you, or to provide the Service to you. These Services include the following:

  • Provide a personalised experience - We use your details to communicate personally with you and to indicate your actions on our Service.
  • Communications - We use your email to send messages, notifications, important PlayGoKids updates.
  • Customer Service - We use your email to respond to your questions or enquiries. Your email is only used internally and will never be visible to anyone.

Non-Identifying Information

We may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and we may disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling or other purposes. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information.

 

Sharing your information

PlayGoKids cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We can disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process including, but not limited to, subpoenas, to protect the property and rights of PlayGoKids or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.

 

How do we store your data?

We care about the security of your information. We securely store your data using commercially reasonable safeguards and precautions to preserve the integrity and security of information collected and maintained through our Service.

However, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us or guarantee that information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by unauthorised persons. We urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe, and to logout of your account after use. If your Google account is hacked, this may lead to unauthorised use of your PlayGoKids account, so be careful to keep your account information secure.

We will retain copies of your information for as long as you maintain your account or as necessary in connection with the purposes set out in this Statement, unless applicable law requires a longer retention period. In addition, we may retain your information for the duration of any period necessary to establish, exercise or defend any legal rights.

 

Ads

PlayGoKids uses Google AdMob to offer you non-personalized ads. The ads offered to you are random, and not personalized, therefore you should expect random ads with content suitable for all audiences, including families and children.

 

Privacy policies of other websites

Our Service may contain links to other third-party websites and online services that have their own Privacy Policies. If you choose to visit another website or online service by clicking on a link, you will be directed to that third party's website or online service. The fact that we may link to a website or online service is not an endorsement, authorisation or representation of our affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies or practices. As we do not have control of third party websites and their content, we cannot be responsible or liable for the content, conduct or consequences that may arise from visiting these sites. Nevertheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our Service and welcome any feedback about these sites.

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request for copies of your personal data, in electronic format. (We may charge you a fee for this service)

The right to rectification – You have the right to request the correction of any personal information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request the completion of the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request us to erase your personal data for any reason relating to your particular situation.

The right to restrict or to object processing – You have the right to request us to restrict or object the processing of your personal data, under conditions laid down by law, to temporarily or definitively stop processing all or part of your Personal Data.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request us to transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, in electronic format. (We may charge you a fee for this service)

Why do we collect your data?

Legal basis for processing

Pursuant to article 6-1 of the GDPR, we process your Personal Data:

  • as necessary to fulfill our Terms of Use;
