Jim Barker Memorial Playground

Awesome playground for younger kids with swings, baby swings, a net swing, two flying foxes, slides, a rotating disc ride, boat and bus you can climb on, in-ground bouncers, buzzy bees and rocking sheep you can sit in, balancing poles and climbing apparatuses. There’s a free BBQ, toilets and a skateboard halfpipe and skateboard structures. There’s picnic tables and a basketball court. There’s a stand of trees next to it that kids can explore. It could do with some shade sails but otherwise it’s the perfect playground.

Great for younger kids up to about 10. Cool little bike track. Very kiwiana
