Ponderosa Drive Park

Quiet playground, 3 year old enjoyed walking around the logs on the perimeter and playing with the fire engine bell (poor neighbours!) No shade but a couple of benches to sit at. Equipment seemed dated but not rusty or unsafe so maybe has had an update in last year or two. We are working our way around local playgrounds while we can (and everything else is shut due to Covid19).

this playground sits in a nice quiet neighbourhood, roadside parking available but it can be hectic during peak hours as many people drive via pondarosa to albany as shortcut. the playground definitely needs a makeup for sure, the facilities are old and rusty and quite unsafe for the little kids. I hope they’ll do some work on this playground, it’s spacious and we’ll definitely visit more often when they’ve done something about it.
